It is member of CILET (Centre International de Liaison des Ecoles de Cinéma et de Télévision), an it is also member of FEISAL (Federation of Image and Sound Schools of Latin America), holding the presidency of this organization up to the present. When it is about to reach 25 years of existence, EICTV currently provides with knowledge to 116 students from 25 different countries, besides, it organizes High Studies Courses to itinerant students on different specialties and also International Workshops. Many of the short films made by these students have been acknowledged in the most important film festivals, in Cuba and abroad.<br />.................................................................<br /><span style="font-weight:bold;"><br />Director's biography </span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight:bold;">In English </span><br />With a major in Journalism from the Federal University at Ceará, Janaina Marques Ribeiro worked writing notes and articles on cinema, theater, music and TV. In 2006, she enrolled at the International Film & TV School in Cuba. The Minutes, The Hours was premiered at Cannes and received awards at Clermont Ferrand, San Sebastian, Biarritz and Munich. <br /><br /><span style="font-weight:bold;">En Español</span><br />Janaína Marques Ribeiro es brasileña. Estudió Realización Audiovisual en el Instituto Dragão do Mar, teatro y crítica cinematográfica. Es licenciada en Periodismo de la Universidad Federal de Ceará. En 2006, fue seleccionada para estudiar Dirección de Cine y TV en la EICTV, Cuba. Su corto "Los Minutos, Las Horas" estrenó en Cannes y ganó el Prix Spécial du Jury en Festival du Court Métrage de Clermont Ferrand 2011, además de ser premiado en San Sebastián, Biarritz y Munich.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight:bold;">Em Português</span> <br />Janaina Marques Ribeiro nasceu em Brasília e tem formação em Jornalismo pela Universidade Federal do Ceará. Também estudou Realização Audiovisual, Teatro e Critica Cinematográfica em Fortaleza. De 2006 a 2009, estudou Direção de Cinema e TV pela EICTV-Cuba. Seu curta "Los Minutos, Las Horas" estreou em Cannes, ganhou o Prix Spécial du Jury no Festival du Court Métrage de Clermont Ferrand 2011 e foi premiado em San Sebastián, Biarritz e Munich, entre outros festivais.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight:bold;">En Français </span><br />Janaina Marques Ribeiro est née en 1978 à Brasilia, capitale du Brésil, mais depuis son enfance, elle habite à Fortaleza, au nord-est du Brésil. Elle a fait des études de Réalisation Audiovisuelle à l´ Institut Dragâo do Mar. Elle y a aussi fait des études de théâtre et de critique cinématographique. Diplômée en Communication Sociale et Journalisme à l´Université Fédéral de Ceará (UFC). Elle a travaillé pendant presque cinq ans comme journaliste à la rédaction d´articles sur le cinéma, le théâtre, la musique et la télévision. À l´École Internationale de Cinéma et de Télévision (EICTV) de San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba, elle a étudié la Réalisation de Cinéma et de Télévision pendant trois ans .
